Impartial advice

I offer an independent and impartial inspection service on all types of textile flooring. I can arrange to personally inspect on-site, whether in a private home or in commercial premises such as hotels, restaurants, shops and stores, or offices. This service is available to consumers, end users, manufacturers, loss adjusters, insurance companies, solicitors and Trading Standards offices.

Background

I have spent my entire working life (50 years) in the carpet industry with 40 years spent in manufacturing. I have been involved in all aspects of carpet manufacturing, from yarn spinning and product development to tufting and weaving, mostly in high quality wool-based products. During my career I have held directorships in two leading British manufacturers and I have also been a director of the industry’s trade body "The Carpet Foundation".

On reaching my 65th birthday I resigned all these positions. I am now a self-employed consultant and therefore I remain totally independent and impartial, with no affiliations.
